Unless the symptom is "no sound", most of the problems that send a tube amp to the shop are not caused by bad tubes.  Many amp owners don't realize this, and at first sign of trouble seek to replace the tubes.  Not only is this expensive, but a circuit problem can immediately destroy the new tube.

When an amp needs a tube, we install RUBY TUBES, the most thoroughly selected and tested tubes on the market.  As part of a Dr Rock repair, we guarantee them for 6 months, twice the length of any other warranty.  However, we cannot guarantee them to work at all in an amp we haven't seen!  Sorry, no warranty on over the counter sales.

We will test all the tubes in your amp for a minimum fee when you bring in your amp.  No loose tubes please.  If any need replacement, we will bench check the amp and install the new tubes.  If the amp and tubes are OK, the bench fee is only $45.00.  If there are any other problems found, we will advise you of the condition and options for further repair.
