Mini Fix...

Tremolo optional.

These are images of a Gibson ES 330 Dave rebuilt.

The electronics harness was replaced with quality components; CTS pots and Belden cable, Switchcraft jack and switch. Original pickips were saved. Finish was in very bad shape, it was covered with years of schmutz and neglect.  Actually could have a hazmat team it was so gross. The finished guitar had the missing binding replaced, a refret and vintage style functional keys were installed to replace the wrong model. Now she's a real player again.  This model differs from the 335 as it has no center block, it has a warm sweet tone.  It's excellent for soft to medium volume gigs and studio work where a nice note blossom with a slightly darker tone is desired.  The P90s help keep clarity.

This interior screen shot shows the old pots and wire covered in schmutz and dust.

These 5 photos are a Fender Strat Plus with an ebony board getting a refret with jumbo 150 wire. We gloss the fingerboard out to 1000 grit and final frets are polished out with jewelers rouge.

From the "You Gotta See It" file:

This is what sweat and grime do to an on board preamp. The sliders are shot and the unit will have to be replaced

The preceding five shots are of a 1980 Les Paul Custom Dave modified to accommodate the RMC Piezo/synth driver pickup system.  The inner control cavity and side out-put area required extensive routing.
This system gives the player the stock pickup output through the 1/4" jack with a master volume and master tone, and blend control for panning between the mag pickups and the piezo saddles, as well as a synth volume for the Roland VG8 or GR guitar series synth units.
Also in the control set is a guitar/mix/synth 3 way switch and a program up/down switch.
Installation on this type of guitar runs around $375.00 plus parts.
